DRB Las Gidi is an up and coming musical group bringing a new sound with a fusion of afrobeats, Hip-Hop and R&B to the Nigerian industry. They create music that blends with their culture and ethnicity, matching quality sounds to their innovative style. The group contains two dynamic and exciting rappers Fresh L (Ladi Ladenegan) 19, TeeZee (Teni Zaccheaus) 21, and singer Boj (Bolaji Odojukan) 19, whose sound can only be expressed as unique. The group is made up of 3 members of group DRB who in recent years have been raising a significant following.
With 3 hit singles from 2011; Bring out the rose, Gra Gra and Swagga Mi Gbono all in rotation these young men have shown their potential and great things are anticipated in 2012. This can be evidenced by their past work with other artists in the industry such as Davido, Adey, Flowsick and UK based Bigz Flygerian. With future collaborations expected with SDC and the Syndik8 crew it is no surprise award winning DJ Caise (Choc city DJ) has chosen to mentor what could be Nigeria’s next ‘superstar crew’ along with their manager Tenny Karim.
Their new single with double award winning DJ Caise called Toyin has been called a sure hit by most and have received an excellent welcome since its release with well over 10,000 downloads in less than 24hrs.
